INSTALLATION

1. Install:
S Tie-rod 1
S Relay rod 2
NOTE:
S Install the rod end 3 with the left-hand thread
onto the tie-rod on the right side.
S The threads on both a rod ends must be the
same length.
CAUTION:
Always use new cotter pins.
Locknut (rod end):
25 Nm (2.5 mSkg, 18 ftSlb)
LOCTITE
Nut (suspension arm-tie-rod):
43 Nm (4.3 mSkg, 31 ftSlb)
2. Apply
S Low temperature lithium soap base grease
(to bearing inner surface)
3. Tighten:
Bearing holder nut:
19 Nm (1.9 mSkg, 14 ftSlb)
Bearing holder bolt:
27 Nm (2.7 mSkg, 20 ftSlb)
Relay rod nut:
43 Nm (4.3 mSkg, 31 ftSlb)
CAUTION:
Always use a new lock washer and cotter
pin.
NOTE:
Bend the lock washer top along the bolts and
nuts flats.
