Troubleshooting Software Installation and
Upgrade
To troubleshoot Software Installation/Upgrade Prob-
lems
1. Record the error message(s) in the RTC shell, then
go through Table 39 below.
2. If you cannot solve the problem using Table 39, go
through the steps in "Generic Troubleshooting Steps"
on page 144.
3. If you still can't find the problem, call Mitel Networks
Technical Support (see "Before You Contact
Technical Support" on page 142).
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have the following
information on hand before calling:
• The Controller's VxWorks parameters (bootdevice,
host file, inet on ethernet, host IP address).
• The FTP site properties (home directory, IP address
of FTP site, user defined in user domain).
• The error message(s) in the RTC shell
