5.1.2 Releasing an FRU of the crossbar box from the
system
If the maintenance target is a crossbar box, the following are targeted as FRUs:
Chassis of the crossbar box
■
Power supply unit of the crossbar box
■
Fan unit of the crossbar box
■
XSCF unit of the crossbar box
■

Log in to the XSCF shell.
2.
Execute the replacefru command to display the maintenance menu.
XSCF> replacefru
3.
Select the FRU requiring maintenance by specifying it with a numeric key.
In the following example, since the crossbar box chassis itself is selected, "2" is
entered.

Please select a type of model which has FRU to be replaced.
1. BB (4s Building Block Model)
2. XBBOX (XB-BOX Model)

Select [1,2|c:cancel] : 2

Select the FRU requiring maintenance by specifying it with a numeric key.
In the following example, since XBBOX#81 is showing "Degraded" indicating
abnormality, "2" is entered.
