<<ADF Setup>>
(1) Take out the following parts from the acces-
sory package.
• Original feed tray ......... 1pc. 33
• Screws to fix the original feeding tray
..... 2pcs. 34
(2) Remove the adhesive tape from the original
stopper.
(3) Install the original feed tray onto the ADF.
(4) Original feed tray center adjustment
Prepare an A4 [or Letter] sized test original

by drawing a line in the center of the sheet,
as shown.
Place the test original 1 face up in the tray.

Adjust the side guides to the edges of the
original.
Press PRINT to make a copy. Fold the copy

in half to check that the center line is copied
in the center of the sheet.
If not, loosen the two screws and adjust the
position of the original feed tray. Repeat the
procedure until the center line on the copy is
in the fold. After the adjustment, tighten the
two screws of the original feed tray.
