18.13.14 Pick-up roller/aligning roller (R)
(1) Remove the feed unit.
Pick-up roller
(2) Remove the entrance guide.
(3) Remove the gear (spring clutch) of the drive
section (1 pierce-ring).
(4) Remove one front side pierce-ring.
(5) Remove one pierce-ring holding the roller, and
then pull out the roller.
Aligning roller (R)
(2) Remove the entrance guide, and then the align-
ing sensor.
(3) Remove the pulley of the drive section
(2 E-rings).
(4) Remove the bearing and two E-rings, and then
extract the roller.
18.13.15 Reversing unit
(1) Remove the ADF unit.
(2) Remove the transport unit and the cover.
(3) Remove the connector from the PC board.
(4) Remove earth wires (at 2 places) attached in
the hinge portion.
