13.4 Drive System
13.4.1 Driving of the EXIT/ADU gate
When the gate solenoid is turned ON, the
arm rotates and pushes up the lever, caus-
ing the gate to open. The copied sheet is
then transported to the ADU's stacking sec-
tion. When the gate solenoid is turned OFF,
the arm is pulled back to its original position
by a spring, causing the gate to close, and
the copied sheet will exit.
