8.4.3 Aligning unit
(1) Remove the front inner cover, the lower inner
cover and the transfer/separation charger unit.
(2) Disconnect the connector of the developer bias
harness from the HVT transformer.
(3) Remove the aligning unit fixing screws (front: 1
pc., rear: 1pc.).
(4) Remove the stop ring from the bush discon-
nection inhibitor on the front and rear side.
Remove the bush on the front and rear side
frame. Disconnect the connector of the align-
ing switch.
(5) Lift up the aligning unit to the direction of the
arrow A and remove it.
Note: When installing the aligning unit, securely
hook the belt to the pulley.
