Adding PSUs

4PSUs are internally connected to AC input power cables in a one-to-one
correspondence. The redundant power supply requires one additional AC input
power cable.
4The method of adding an optional power supply depends on the voltage of the
supply.
• For a 100 VAC power supply, an additional power supply is required in the
following cases:
- If five or more CPU modules are to be installed
- If a redundant power supply is to be configured
For details, see
• For a 200 VAC power supply, an additional PSU is required in the following
cases:
- If a redundant power supply is to be configured
For details, see
• For a dual power supply, all four PSUs are already installed. Therefore, no
additional power supplies are needed.
For details, see
4Hot swapping of power supplies requires that the system is configured for
redundant PSU or dual power feed.
