Data destruction
The use of a command not described in this
manual while the ok prompt is displayed might
destroy data. The improper use of a command
described in this manual while the ok prompt is
displayed might also destroy data. Therefore, be
sure to fully understand the function and usage of
each command before using it.
Equipment damage
For this product and Fujitsu/Fujitsu Siemens
Computers-supplied options, the following
operations should be performed only by a
certified service engineer, to prevent the
occurrence of failures:
l Mounting and/or removal of optional internal units
Equipment damage
The unit may malfunction if the PSUs are not hot
swapped correctly. Contact a certified service
engineer before attempting to hot swap a PSU.
Data destruction
Contact a certified service engineer if a hard disk
drive must be hot swapped.
Data may be lost if the hot swap procedure is not
performed correctly.
Electric shock
The power that is supplied to the main unit
cannot be turned off with the power switch alone.
The main unit has several power cables. To turn
off all power to the main unit, after the power
switch has been turned off, disconnect all of
these power cables.

Observe the following procedures to prevent
damage to the PRIMEPOWER850 rack-mount
type (16U) server.
Equipment damage
The power cables must be connected to easily
accessible, grounded outlets.
