(2) Non-redundant PSU configuration for 200 VAC power supply
This main unit can optionally support the PSU configuration for 200 VAC power
supply.
The following section describes the power cable connection for a non-redundant PSU
configuration for a 200 VAC power supply.
4The 200 VAC power supply option should be installed at the factory. If this
option is necessary, order it at the same time as ordering the main unit. If the
need for the option is realized later, consult your PRIMEPOWER sales
representative.
4The power distribution box is an optional product. If the power cables must be
connected to a power distribution box, one must be purchased separately.
a) Number of power cables
The number of power cables used for systems installed inside Japan is different from
that for systems installed outside Japan.
• For systems installed inside Japan
The following power cables are supplied with the optional 200 VAC power supply
unit:
l Two NEMA L6-I5P compliant 200 VAC power cables
l Two IEC320-compliant power cables for connection to the power distribution box
• For systems installed outside Japan
The following power cables are supplied with the optional 200 VAC power supply
unit:
l Two IEC320-compliant power cables for connection to the power distribution box
b) Power cable connection
Inside Japan, the power cables can be connected to the power distribution box or
directly to the power distribution panel. Outside Japan, the power cables must be
connected to the power distribution box.
• Direct connection to the power distribution panel (only inside Japan)
Connect the main unit power cables to 200-240 VAC grounded outlets (complies with
NEMA L6-15R) as shown in
4If the main unit employs software for automatic power control and the mode
switch is set to UNLOCK or LOCK, plugging a power cable into an outlet may
automatically turn on the power. To prevent such an occurrence, set the mode
switch to MAINTENANCE before plugging the power cable into the outlet.
