FOR SAFE OPERATION

Warning
Electric shock
The power that is supplied to the main unit
cannot be turned off with the power switch alone.
The main unit has several power cables. To turn
off all power to the main unit, after the power
switch has been turned off, disconnect all of
these power cables.
Equipment damage
Observe the following precautions to prevent
damage to the PRIMEPOWER650 rack-mount
type (8U) server.
Equipment damage
Connect the ground before connecting any of the
power supply lines. If all of the power cables are
connected to a single power strip, high leakage
current exceeding the stipulated value may leak
through to the earth lead of the power strip.
If the power strip is not directly connected to the
main distribution panel, use a power strip with an
industrial plug (CEE17/IEC309).
Equipment damage
l The power cables must be connected to an easily
accessible, grounded outlet.
l The power cables must be connected in a way
that ensures that power does not exceed the
circuit breaker capacity of the power distribution
panel or that of the power distribution box in the
rack.
