Removing The Lcd System Information Display Panel - Lenovo System x3650 M5 Installation And Service Manual

To install the SD adapter, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page
305.
Step 2. Turn off the server, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Step 3. Remove the top cover (see "Removing the top cover" on page 162).
Step 4. Remove the riser-card assembly 2 (See "Removing a riser-card assembly" on page 198).
Step 5. Insert the SD cards.
Step 6. Align the SD adapter with the alignment pin and the connector; then, lower the SD adapter and
push it until it is firmly seated.
Step 7. Fasten two screws.

Step 9. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.

Note: The LCD system information display panel is available only on some models.
Removing the LCD panel assembly on a 3.5-inch model
To remove the LCD panel assembly on a 3.5-inch model, complete the following steps.
1. Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 305.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables, if
necessary.
3. Remove the top cover (see "Removing the top cover" on page 162).
