Removing the Developer or Fixer Thermistor
For this procedure the processor must be deenergized. See page 1-7. In addition, the
FEED-END MIDDLE ACCESS PANEL must be removed from the processor. See pages 1-3
through 1-5 for instructions, if necessary.

Either drain the DEVELOPER and/or FIXER TANK, or place CLAMPS TL-2170 on the DEVELOPER or
FIXER TUBES leading to and from the THERMOWELL.

Disconnect the DEVELOPER THERMISTOR P12 or the FIXER THERMISTOR P13 from the
ELECTRICAL BOX. See Figure 5-6 on page 5-8.

Remove the THERMISTOR from the THERMOWELL.
• A small amount of DEVELOPER or FIXER will spill.
• To prevent cracking of the THERMOWELL BODY, use caution when assembling the THERMISTOR
and tighten by hand plus 1/2 turn.

To install the new THERMISTOR, use SILASTIC SEALANT RTV 102 TL-3230 or equivalent.

Make the necessary connections.
