"Encoder parameterization" window
In the "Encoder parameterization" window, you select as to whether it involves a linear or rotary
axis under "Drive type".

Encoder parameterization
Encoder data, gear ratios and leadscrew pitch are entered at "Encoder parameterization". The
settings of gear ratio or spindle pitch must be assigned the same values as in the axis machine
data.
Note
If the appropriate settings are not made, then the set safe speed does not match the actual
travelled/active speed, i.e. the axis may traverse too quickly.
