The following diagram shows the assignment of the F-DI for drive group 2. This group usually
only includes the spindle of the machine tool. In the following figure, you can see that:
● STO is interconnected with F-DI 2:
This means that the spindle is in STO is as long as the door is open.
● SS1 is interconnected with F-DI 0:
This also corresponds to the setting for the feed axes in drive group 1. F-DI 0 is for
Emergency Stop.
