Panel display (Liquid Crystal Display)

Changing Fax/Copy mode

When you use your machine as a copier, for making copies or setting copy functions,
press . As a facsimile, for fax transmission or setting fax functions, press
COPY
The shows the machine's status, error messages and function menu.

Currently selected paper cassette and the machine's status.

Various items are displayed according to the operation. When it is shown with
double or more lines, it means that you can select more items. Press
show the more items.

Copy reduction or enlargement ratio.

Number of copies.

In this area, displays the selected function's icon or error message. When you
set the copy function(s), the icon corresponds with the selected function is dis-
played. See right column for details.
