Display associated system variables button
You open the "PCU access - system variables" dialog via the button
system variables). All system variables to be used under "PCU access" are listed here.
Information on the system variables can be found in the System variables for the PCU access
dialog (Page 287) section.
Further general information on the system variables can be found in the Reference list system
variables (Page 283) section.
Dialog / Operating instructions
You can find additional information on the "Dialog" and "Operating instructions" property
groups under Package configuration (configuration) (Page 121).
Address
The "Preselection" is already set to the default address 192.168.214.241 of the "PCU50".
Note
If the package is to be executed locally on a PCU, the specified address has no significance.
Login information
The following settings are available for the "Login information" property:
User name
Password
Dialog scripts
Under "Dialog scripts", "Scripts" entry, via the button
Edit event scripts". Here you can edit scripts that are to be executed at selectable times during
package processing.
You can find detailed information on the dialog scripts in the section with the same name
"Dialog scripts (Page 115)".

Execution of the "PCU access" dialog page cannot be deactivated.
If, in the Package tab, under "Data areas > Use PCU" has been selected, this dialog page is
executed automatically when executing a package.

Neither a user name nor a password is pre-assigned for a new project.
If the user name and password are not specified, a logon is started with the default
user of the PCU50 XP "auduser" and the appropriate password for the package
execution.
