● Excluding data when deploying the package

An overview when selecting dialog pages is provided in Table Overview depending on the
dialog pages of data areas (Page 115).

Here, you select the user interface language for
processing the package.
The language can be switched for each dialog
separately by the user during the package execu‐
tion.
The user fields (yellow fields) remain unchanged.
The package can be versioned by the user via the
user version.
The value is entered in the input field as STRING.
If the contents of the input field "User version" can
be interpreted as version, then the system variable
Up.$Pack.UserVersion is converted from the type
STRING to the type VERSION during package ex‐
ecution, otherwise the type STRING is retained.
The system variable Up.$Pack.UserVersion is "re‐
adOnly" during package execution.
With the VERSION type, a comparison with a ver‐
sion can be compared (smaller than, less than,
equal to, etc.).
For the type STRING the comparison can only be
made for "equal to".
The user version can also be created with a Win‐
dows environment variable (e.g. %MyVersion%)
when deploying the package.
