CLUTCH
Inspect the clutch lever free play awhe
end
of the
lever.

Major adjustments should be made using the ad-
juster located a t the clutch housing, Loosen the lock
nut and turn the clutch cable adjusting nut.
Minor adjustments can be made with the clutch
cable adjr~ster located on the clutch lever.
Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjuster.

Recheck the clutch operation.
SIDE STAND
Check the rubber pad for deterioration or wear.
Replace if any wear extends to the wear line as
shown.
Check the side stand spring for damage and loss of
tension, and the side stand assembly for freedom of
movement and for being bent.

*Spring tension is correct if the
measurements
fall within 2-43 kg (4.4-6.6 Ib], when
pulling the side stand lower end with a
spring scale.
