TRANSMISSION I NSPECTIBN
Check the gears for freedom of movement and
rotation on the shaft.
Examine the gear dogs and slots for evidence of
abnormal wear.
Measure the I.D. of each gear. If any gear exceeds
the service limit, that gear must be replaced.

Measure the countershaft gear bushing I.B. and O.B.

Calculate the clearance btween the gear and gear
shaft or bushing.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.15 mm (0.006 in)
