TROUBLESHOOTING
The battery is not charging.
NOTE:
•
Before troubleshooting, remove the following parts:
1.
Seat
2.
Left side panel / cap.
1.
Check the fuse.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
FUSE "on page 7-34

2.
Check the battery.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
AND CHARGING THE BATTERY "in
page 7-34.
OK ↓
3.
Verify operation of the coil
the stator. See the section
"CHECKING THE COIL
STATOR "on page 7-41.

4.
Check the regulator / rectifier.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
REGULATOR / RECTIFIER "in
page 7-41.
OK ↓
5.
Check the wiring system
load. See the section
"CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 7-11.
OK ↓
The circuit of the charging system is OK
NG →
Replace the fuse
NG →
• Clean the battery terminals
• Recharge or replace battery.
NG →
Change the position of position sensor
Crankshaft / stator.
NG →
Replace the regulator / rectifier.
NG →
Connect or repair wiring system
