TROUBLESHOOTING
The starter will not start.
NOTE:
•
Before troubleshooting, remove the following parts:
1. Seat

Side cover 1 and 2
1. Check the fuse.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
FUSE "on page 7-34.

Check the engine starts.

Check the relay circuit court
starting.

Check the starter relay.

Check main switch.

Replace the fuse.

• Clean the battery terminals
• Recharge or replace battery.

The starter is good. Perform
electrical troubleshooting
ignition system, from step 5.

Repair or replace starter.

Replace the starter cut relay.

Replace the starter relay.

Replace the main switch.
