USING AN SD CARD OR USB FLASH DRIVE
Loading the saved data files onto an

Memory channels and transceiver's settings on the
card or flash drive can be copied to the transceiver.
This function is convenient when:
• Copying the saved data to another
ate with the same data.
• Using one
IC-7851
by two or more operators with
their own individual data.
Saving the current data is recommended before load-
ing other data into the transceiver.

Push [SD/USB](F).

[SD/USB](F) toggles the file load source between
the card and the flash drive.

• Opens a confirmation window.
• To cancel loading, push [CANCEL](F).

Push [OK](F).
• Loads the data settings of the selected source.
• While loading from the card, the indicator to the left of
the [SD CARD] slot lights.
• While loading from the flash drive, the indicator to the
right of the [SD CARD] slot lights.
• You can change the content to be loaded in the
screen (p.
10-4).

After loading ends, reboot the transceiver
