5. Pour the specified amount of the recom-
mended engine oil into the oil filler hole.
Recommended engine oil:
4-stroke motor oil
API: SE, SF, SG, SH, SJ, or SL
SAE: 5W-30, 10W-30, or 10W-40
Engine oil quantity:
Without oil filter replacement:
5.6 L (5.92 US qt, 4.93 Imp qt)
6. Install the oil filler cap and oil dipstick,
and then start the engine and warm it up
for 5 minutes.
7. Turn the engine off, and then check the
oil level and that there is no oil leakage. If
the oil level is low, add engine oil to the
correct level.
Changing the engine oil by draining
it
1. Start the engine, and warm it up, and
then turn it off.
2. Remove the oil dipstick and oil filler cap

3. Remove the starboard apron 2.

Periodic check and adjustment
4. Place a drain pan under the drain hole,
and then remove the engine oil drain bolt
3 and let the oil drain completely.
NOTE:
Be sure to clean up any oil spills.
5. Install the engine oil drain bolt, and then
tighten it to the specified torque.
Engine oil drain bolt 3:
27 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 19.9 ft·lb)
6. Pour the specified amount of the recom-
mended engine oil into the oil filler hole.
Recommended engine oil:
