WAN interface problems

If you are having problems with the WAN Interface, refer to the following tips.
I can't get a WAN IP address from the ISP
My WAN IP address cannot be obtained from the ISP:
If you are using PPPoE or PPTP encapsulation, you need a user name and password,
which is provided by your ISP. Ensure that you have entered the correct Service Type,
User Name, and Password. Note that user names and passwords are case-sensitive.
If your ISP requires MAC
address authentication,
clone the MAC address from
your computer on the LAN as
BiGuard S10's WAN MAC
address. Click Specify a
MAC Address (MAC Clone)
and type the MAC address in
the WAN Settings dialog.
If your ISP requires host
name authentication, config-
ure your computer's name as
BiGuard S10's system name.
