•
Use a tyre lever or similar tool to force off the rear
drive shaft (1).
•
Remove strap (2) and pull off the flexible gaiter.

Note:
Note circlip (3) at rear drive shaft.
•
Replace circlip (3) if necessary.

Screw rear wheel drive centrally to holder,

BMW No. 33 1 510, using bearing stud (6).
•
Screw locking arm (7) on firmly.
•
Move threaded sockets (4) up to rear wheel
drive.
•
Tighten with wheel studs (5).

3 Important:
The grub screws must not project, or the neck of the
housing could be damaged.
•
Tighten grub screws (8) until they are sealed.
