Turn the lower suspension strut mount (1)
through 90° (arrow).

Note:
Before removing, take the plastic washer and bush-
ing off suspension strut (3).
•
Lift suspension strut (3) forwards and to the
left (arrow) out of leading link (2).
•
Pull suspension strut (3) out downwards and to
the right (arrow), past leading link (2).

Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Pay particular attention to the following:

Note:
If the telescopic fork was extended too far, loosen
the fixed fork tube clamps and push the fixed tube
into the fork tube, turning it at the same time. Note
the correct projection when securing the fixed fork
tube.

Important:
When installing connecting hose (4), make sure that
the fastener (arrow) is a sufficient distance away
from the radiator.

Spring strut to frame .................................... 43 Nm
Spring strut to leading link............................ 43 Nm
Steering damper to leading link
(clean thread + apply Loctite 243) ................ 21 Nm
