Attention:
Disconnect ground lead from battery and insulate.
– Clean ABS sensor (2) and the hole before remov-
ing/installing.

Unscrew ABS sensor (2) from brake caliper (1).
•
Take off ABS sensor (2) with spacing plate (3).

Remove all cable ties holding the ABS sensor
cable (4).
•
Disconnect plug connector (arrow) from ABS
sensor cable (4).
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Pay particular attention to the following:

Attention:
Carefully route the ABS cable and secure in position
with cable ties.
– If required, check/adjust ABS sensor gap
( 34.11).
