Installing the magnetic gate

•
Place adjusting disc (3) and rotor (2) on crank-
shaft, and tighten.
•
Install magnetic gate (1) in the same position as
previously marked.
•
Tighten fasteners with washers and semi-circular
shims.
•
Reconnect the plug connector in the electronic
equipment box.
X
Tightening torque:
Rotor .............................................................. 4 Nm
Magnetic gate ................................................ 6 Nm

Important:
Correct the ignition timing.

•
Run the lead to the magnetic gate through the
timing case cover with a rubber sleeve.
•
Secure the cables for the oil pressure telltale and
temperature display with clip (6).
•
Install cover (5) with gasket (4).
•
Further installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure.

Cover of Hall-effect transmitter....................... 9 Nm
