Filling the rear control circuit

Note:
The rear wheel circuit and control circuit have a
shared expansion tank.
The rear wheel circuit must be filled from the brake
calliper (
34.18).

Top up the reservoir (2) to the MAX mark.

Attention:
During the process, the brake fluid level in the res-
ervoir must not drop below the hose level (arrow, or
else air will be drawn into the brake system.

Warning:
If the brake-fluid level in the reservoir does fall below
hose level (arrow), the wheel circuit must be refilled
at the brake calliper and bled once again

Connect the silicon hose with bleeding unit to
each of the 3 bleed screws in turn
- rear dosing cylinder
- rear integral circuit
- rear control circuit
•
Let the brake fluid run out and, at the same time,
continuously top up new brake fluid in the wheel-
circuit reservoir.
•
Let brake fluid run off until it emerges clear and
free of air bubbles.
•
Close the bleed screw.
