– Place the front wheel on two wooden blocks,
making sure the brake disc is clear.

Note:
There is no circlip at the right wheel bearing.
•
Lever out shaft seal (1).
•
Remove circlip (2) with suitable pliers.

•
Place support ring, BMW No. 36 6 640, on
wheel hub.
•
Heat bearing seat to 60 °C (140 °F).
•
Pull out wheel bearing (3) with puller,
BMW No. 00 8 570, and internal puller 21/4,
BMW No. 00 8 573.
•
Remove spacer sleeve (4).
