Switch off the engine.
•
Place motorcycle on its centre stand.
•
Select a gear and switch on the ignition.
– Temperature gauge warning light lights up.
•
Extend the side stand, observing the tempera-
ture gauge warning light.
– Temperature gauge warning light goes out (en-
gine control unit switches off).

Note:
Set the pivot lever only in the centre position (neutral
position).
•
Pivot lever (1) is in centre position.
•
Adjust headlight beam throw with adjusting
screw (2).
Anti-clockwise rotation: ............ longer throw/higher
Clockwise rotation:................... shorter throw/lower
•
Adjust beam throw with a suitable adjuster.
Setting for headlight beam angle adjuster
...................................................-10 cm (-3.937 in)

............................. H = Bulb centre normal position
