GPS field

The GPS field in Horizon indicates if the X100 has acquired a locked GPS location by 4 satel-
lites. Three satellites are needed to provide the position on the three axes (X, Y and Z) and one
satellite to provide timing corrections.
This field can have the following values:

READY field

The READY field in Horizon indicates whether the sensors of the eBox (airspeed sensor,
accelerometers, altitude pressure sensor, gyros, ...) are fully initialized or not:

: The initialization of the X100 takes about 25 seconds. In its final steps the aircraft will

Monitor the X100 autopilot initialization
Color
red
No satellite signal is received. The time to acquire
a GPS lock can range between 3 and 30 minutes
depending on:
• Time since last GPS lock
• Distance to previous locked GPS location
• GPS signal strength
red
A good satellite signal is received from one up to
three satellites.
green
A good satellite signal is received from at least four
satellites.
Color
red
The X100 is not fully initialized.
green
The X100 is fully initialized.
