Connecting Tiled Projectors
Wiring Requirements
A distribution box or digital signal switcher may be used to feed the same video signal to all the units of the
tiling array. See
Christie loop-through may be used to set up a tiling array (see
wiring providing the HDCP requirement is met when HDCP is used by the source. The cascade level of
devices can be no more than 7 levels deep.
PIP is not supported, and high bandwidth signals greater than 165 MHz are not supported. Double wire loop-
through supports high bandwidth signals greater than 165 MHz.
The wiring diagrams are provided to:
• Meet the HDCP requirement,
• Minimize the length of HDMI cables to be used, and
• Balance the connection tree to ensure the level of loop-through is minimized.
