4.3 Poor Print Quality
Symptoms
Paper becomes wrin-
kled.
Text is blurred.

White or color
patches appear
along the feed direc-
tion of the paper.
Text or images are
printed at an angle.

The paper in use is unsuitable.
Paper is being added while it is being
fed.
Is the paper damp?
The drum cartridge is depleted or
damaged.
There is no toner left in the toner car-
tridge.
A probable cause is a dirty Raster
Output Scanner.
The paper guide in the paper tray is
not set at the correct position.
Remedy
Replace with paper from a new ream.
