You can give priority to and make copies of a rush job during continuous copying by press-
ing Interrupt. Pressing Interrupt pauses continuous copying midway when it is OK for the job
to be stopped.
When an interrupt is canceled, copying is resumed from where it was stopped.
Procedure

Press Interrupt.
The interrupt indicator lights, and machine operation stops. If the Interrupt button was pressed during
scanning of a document or copying, the interrupt is reserved on the machine. The interrupt indicator
blinks, and lights when machine operation stops.

Replace the document.

Select other features if necessary.
Other settings in this case includes setting the color mode or original type, selecting ratios, and setting
other advanced features.

Enter the number of copies using the numeric keypad, and press
Start.
Scanning of the document starts, and copies are delivered onto the output tray.

When the you have finished making the interrupt copy, press Interrupt.
The interrupt indicator goes out to indicate that the interrupt is canceled.

Replace the document with the original document, and press Start.
Copying that was interrupted at step 1 is resumed.
Avoid looking at the copy lamp directly when you are making copies with
the document cover open. Direct eye exposure can cause eye fatigue or
damage.
