3.5.5 Display Parallel Cursors (Parallel Cursor)

Parallel cursors can be displayed.

Note: Parallel cursors can be operated only while the parallel cursor menu is open. After the menu closes,
the parallel cursors display remains, but the settings of the bearing and interval cannot be adjusted any
more. To adjust the bearing or interval in this case, press the [VRM] control twice to open the parallel
cursor menu.
Parallel Cursor menu will not open even though the [VRM] control is pressed unless the VRM control
mode is set to Parallel cursor.
To switch to the parallel index line mode by pressing the [VRM] control, set the parallel index lines as
the right jog dial mode while holding down the [VRM] control.
* Software button
available to switch the parallel cursors between ON and OFF.
Hold down [VRM] control.
Jog Dial Button Mode opens.
Select 3 PC Menu in the Right Jog Dial
menu, and set the parallel index lines
as the right jog dial mode.
After setting the parallel index lines as
the right jog dial mode, press the
[VRM] control.
The Parallel Cursor menu opens.
To change the direction of parallel cursors, turn
the [EBL] control.
To change the line intervals, turn the [VRM]
control.
The bearing and interval of parallel cursors are
displayed in the menu area.
Press the [VRM] control again.
The parallel cursor will be fixed.
Press the [VRM] control again.
The parallel cursors display will disappear.
