Transparencies

• Use such types of transparencies that do not melt or deteriorate
when heated (about 170˚C) during fusion.
• Since transparencies are likely to cause double feed, riffle them well
before loading.

Labels

• Use labels that have been prepared for laser printers in such a way
that they are stuck to a backing sheet covering the whole surface
with no glossy surface of the backing sheet exposed.
• Use labels that are stuck with glue that does not melt or deteriorate
when heated (about 170˚C) during fusion.

Envelopes

Observe the following:
• Ambient conditions:
Temperature: 15 to 28˚C
Humidity: 20 to 60% RH
• Paper feeding:
Use the multi-function feeder.
Number of envelopes that can be loaded: Load envelopes so long
as they do not exceed the limit mark.
Hold the envelope with the print side (addressee side) up and with
the flap bent, then load it so that it is fed in the longitudinal
direction. The envelope cannot be printed on its back.
• Paper ejection:
Use the rear stacker (face-up stacker) that can accommodate up to
10 envelopes.
• Setting the printer driver:
Select Thick Paper. For the paper size, select User-defined Size
and specify the width and the length of the envelopes to be
printed.
• Fusing:
If fusing is insufficient (toner is easily scraped off by fingers), use
the thick paper mode.
