Caution:
• Load paper with the print side down.
• When additional sheets of paper are supplied to the tray which is
not empty, it may cause paper mispick, double-feed, skew at the
boundary between old paper and new paper. Especially the
uppermost and lowermost sheets in the package cause this trouble.
• If paper waves or curves, smooth it before loading.
• Paper may curve differently depending on the side on which it is
placed. If paper curves when it is loaded, try and put it on the
opposite side.
Pressure plate
Important:
You cannot install the paper tray with the pressure plate raised.

3. Adjust the paper size dial.
A paper size dial is provided
on the front right of the
paper tray. Set it to the size
of paper loaded.

4. Lock the pressure plate. If
the front of the pressure
plate is raised, push it down
until the pressure plate
clicks into place. Make sure
that left and right sides of
the plate are clicked.
