4. Load paper and adjust the slide guides. Put paper stack with the
print side up on the multi-function feeder and push it forward so
that the front edge of the paper stack is stopped. Then, adjust the
left and right slide guides to the width of the paper stack.
• Place A3-, B4-, or ledger-size paper or envelopes in the
longitudinal direction.
• Place A4-, B5-, A5-, or letter-size paper in the transverse
direction.
5. Push up the operation lever to the "close" position. Push up the
operation lever at the right of the multi-function feeder to the
"close" position.
Caution:
• Do not use creased or wrinkled paper. When using exceptional
paper, riffle the paper stack enough to separate sheets of paper from
each other before putting it on the paper tray.
• When using paper, do not leave the paper in the multi-function
feeder for long time. It may cause waving of paper and dropouts in
printing.

Important:
The MFF has two operation modes: First mode and Cassette mode.
When using it in Cassette mode (default), you must specify the
physical paper size of the MFF.
