Paper Jams in the Paper Path (from the Print Unit to the
Fuser Unit)
Caution:
Do not touch or scratch the green drum surface when clearing the
paper jam.
Be careful not to expose the drum of the print unit to light for more
than five minutes.
Take special care when removing a jam from the transfer charger
unit to avoid damage to the transfer charger wire.
To clear a paper jam under the print unit, follow these steps:

3. Close the upper guide.
Gently push the left and
right portions marked
until the two levers are
locked.
4. Return the duplex unit.
5. Be sure to return the lock
lever to the original lock
position if it is released.
