Selecting a Destination
Selecting a Destination by Facility Name or
City
In addition to selecting a destination by identi-
fier, the select direct-to waypoint page also allows you
to select airports, VORs and NDBs by facility name or
city location. If duplicate entries exist for the entered
facility name or city, additional entries may be viewed
by continuing to turn the small right knob during the
selection process.

To select a direct-to destination by facility name
or city:
Press the direct-to key. The select drect-to

waypont page wll appear, wth the waypont
dentfier field hghlghted.
2. Turn the large right knob to hghlght the
faclty name (second lne; see above) or the
cty (thrd lne; see above) field.
3. Use the small and large right knobs to enter
the faclty name or cty locaton of the desred
destnaton waypont. As you spell the faclty
name or cty, the 400W-seres Spell'N'Fnd
feature wll select the first entry n the database
based upon the characters you have entered
up to that pont.

4. Contnue turnng the small right knob to
scroll through any addtonal database lstngs
for the selected faclty name or cty. You can
also scroll backwards wth the small right
knob f you scroll past the desred waypont.
5. Press ENT to confirm the selected waypont,
and ENT to actvate the drect-to functon.
