Auto-Tuning from Flight Plan/Database
To select a COM frequency for a nearby flight ser-
vice station (FSS) or center (ARTCC):
1. Select the nearest center or flght servce page
from the NRST page group. Turn the large
right knob untl the NRST pages appear. Then,
f necessary, turn the small right knob to
dsplay the desred NRST page.
Use the nearest ARTCC page to quickly re-
trieve the frequency(s) for the nearest center
2. Press the small right knob momentarly to
place the cursor on the page.
3. Turn the large right knob to hghlght the
FSS/ARTCC frequency and press ENT to place
the frequency n the standby field of the COM
wndow.
To select a COM frequency for any airport in your
flight plan:
1. Select the NAVCOM page from the NAV page
group. (Press and hold the CLR key, then turn
the small right knob untl the NAVCOM page
appears.)
The NAVCOM page provides a frequency list
for all the airports (departure, en route and
arrival) along your active flight plan.

2. Press the small right knob to place the cursor
on the arport dentfier field. To the left of ths
field appears Departure, En Route or Arrval
— dependng on the placement of the ds-
played arport wthn your flght plan.
3. Turn the small right knob to dsplay a
wndow lstng the arports n your flght plan.
Contnue turnng the small right knob to
select the desred arport.
4. Press ENT to return to the NAVCOM page wth
the frequences for the selected arport.

6. Press ENT to place the hghlghted frequency
n the standby COM wndow field.
To select a COM frequency for any airport in the
database:
1. Select the arport frequences page from the
WPT page group. (Turn the large right knob
to select the WPT page group. Then turn the
small right knob untl the arport frequences
page appears.)
Use the airport frequencies page to retrieve
a frequency list for ANY airport in the
Jeppesen NavData database.
Press the small right knob to place the cursor
