ip pim dm

Use this command to enable PIM-DM on the interface. Disable
PIM-DM on the interface with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration

ip pim dm

no ip pim dm
Multicast protocol PIM-DM is disabled on the interface by default.
When multicast routing protocol PIM-DM is started on some inter-
face, IGMP is started automatically on this interface. After PIM-DM
is started on the interface, PIM-SM can not be enabled on this in-
terface.
show ip pimdm interface

router pimdm

Use this command to enable IP multicast protocol PIM-DM. Use
the no form of this command to disable PIM-DM.
Global configuration

router pimdm

no router pimdm
If the ip multicast-routing command is not configured, the
PIM-DM routing protocol can not be enabled. If PIM-SM rout-
ing protocol is configured, PIM-DM routing protocol can not be
enabled either.
