The multicast messages encapsulated in the register messages are
not filtered by default.
Source addresses of the multicast messages encapsulated in the
register messages are filtered according to the rules defined in the
access control list (ACL).
rp-candidate

accept-rp

Use this command to filter candidate RP addresses advertised in
BSR messages. Remove the filtering with the no form of this com-
mand.

Candidate RP addresses advertised in BSR messages are not fil-
tered by default.
If local router is not a BSR, candidate RP addresses advertised
in the received BSR messages are filtered according to the rules
defined in the access control list (ACL). The matched ones are
added into local RP set while the ones not matched are ignored.
If local router is a BSR, the candidate RP addresses adver-
tised in the sent BSR messages are filtered according to the
rules defined in the access control list (ACL). The matched ones
are added into the message advertisement while the ones not
matched are ignored.

bsr-candidate

bsr-candidate

Use this command to configure the router to announce its candi-
dacy as a bootstrap router (BSR). Remove this router as a can-
didate for being a bootstrap router with the no form of this com-
mand.
