This example describes how to prevent the router defined by ACL
10 from participating in Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) on
the interface fei_1/1.
ZXR10(config)#access-list 10 deny 10.1.1.1 0.0.0.0
ZXR10(config)#interface fei_1/1
ZXR10(config-if)#ip pim neighbor-filter 10
show ip pimsm neighbor

ip pim query-interval

Use this command to configure the frequency of Protocol Indepen-
dent Multicast (PIM) router query messages. Restore default with
the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
ip pim query-interval <seconds>
no ip pim query-interval
<seconds>
show ip pimsm interface

ip pim sm

Use this command to enable PIM-SM protocol on the interface.
Disable PIM-SM protocol on the interface with the no form of this
command.

ip pim sm

The multicast routing protocol PIM-SM is disabled on the interface
by default.
When the multicast routing protocol PIM-SM is enabled on the in-
terface, IGMP is automatically started on the interface.
show ip pimsm interface

ip mroute

Use this command to establish static multicast routes.
static multicast routes with no form of this command.
Specifies the interval, in seconds, at which
periodic PIM hello messages are sent, range:
