ip msdp sa-limit

Use this command to limit the number of Source-Active (SA) mes-
sages from a Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP) peer that
the router will allow in the SA cache. Remove this limit with the
no form of this command.
ip msdp sa-limit <peer-address><sa-limit>
no ip msdp sa-limit <peer-address>

By default, no SA message limit is set.
Use this command to prevent distributed denial of service attacks.
It is recommend to configure this command on all MSDP peer con-
nections.
This example describes how to configure the maximum number
of SA messages from an MSDP peer 101.1.1.1 allowed in the SA
cache to be 100.
ZXR10(config)#ip msdp sa-limit 101.1.1.1 100
show ip msdp count
show ip msdp peer
show ip msdp summary

ip msdp shutdown

Use this command to administratively shut down a configured Mul-
ticast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP) peer. Bring the peer back
up with the no form of this command.
Global configuration
ip msdp shutdown <peer-address>
no ip msdp shutdown <peer-address>
<peer-address>
No action is taken to shut down an MSDP peer.
IP address of the MSDP peer
Maximum number of SA messages from an
MSDP peer allowed in the SA cache, range:
1~2147483646
IP address of the MSDP peer
