Router configuration
rp-candidate <interface-name>[group-list <access-list-numbe
r>][priority <priority>]
no rp-candidate
<interface-name>
group-list
<access-list-number>
priority <priority>
This command is disabled by default.
1. If there is no <access-list-number> after this command, it in-
dicates that this candidate RP serves for all groups.
2. The default priority of the candidate RP is 192. The candidate
RP with the lower priority is preferred. If the priority is the
same, the candidate RP with a larger hash is preferred. If the
hash is the same, the candidate RP with a larger address is the
RP.
3. It is recommended to configure the RP on the loopback inter-
face to decrease the flapping of the network caused by the
interface up/down.
This example describes how to configure the candidate RP on the
interface loopback1, and the candidate RP serves for in the group
range specified by ACL 1 and the priority is 100.
