After closing the base unit and restarting the system, partition and format the system hard disk
drive as described in the operating system documentation.
SCSI Termination Card
The SCSI termination card terminates the internal SCSI cable chain. If external SCSI devices are
connected, the card disables termination and acts as a pass-through external SCSI connector.
To replace the SCSI termination card:
1.
Disconnect the external SCSI cable from the external SCSI port.
2.
Remove the screws securing the external SCSI port to the back panel.
3.
Note how the SCSI termination card is attached. Slide the card out of the chassis and disconnect
the internal SCSI cable.
