To remove the top cover and side panels:
NOTE
The left and right side panels are identified as if you are facing the front of the base unit.
1.
Remove the footstands.
2.
Remove the screw on the back cover. Pull the top cover back an inch and lift it off the base unit.
Refer to the following figure.
3.
Remove the two screws on the left or right side panel. Then pull the panel up and out to remove it.

Set the cover and panels aside. The following figure shows inside the base unit.
